Ever since I was very young (when my grandfather loaned me his Box Brownie) I have messed around with cameras, only becoming more serious a few years ago. Â Photography gives me an artistic/creative outlet after a working life in a hugely technical environment. Â I love being out and about with a camera and was initially focused on landscapes. Â However, after plunging into mirrorless with the Z9 I have recently turned my hand to wildlife which I really enjoy and get a great sense of calm from.
I am lucky enough to have been published (twice) in "Digital Camera" magazine. Â Not a complete novice then but equally very much on a learning journey with my photography that stimulates me.
I love the landscapes of Wales, Northumberland and Scotland (all reflected in my Galleries - please feel free to peruse) but further afield the cold world of the Arctic Circle also thrills me and I have been lucky enough to travel extensively in Arctic Sweden, Norway and Finland and this is also reflected in a collection of images on this website.
Whilst continuing my love of landscape photography, I continue to seek out opportunities/ experiences in wildlife photography and hugely enjoy the challenges and rewards these genres present.
My intention is that this website will  be a 'living' website i.e. I will continue to add images and Galleries so please be sure to keep visiting to see my most recent work.
Please enjoy my images and contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
